Still winter? Don't be daff-t, the warmer weather is here to stay

Their golden spring glow is usually a sign warmer weather is on its way and this week they are not wrong.

Forecasters say it's time to shed those extra layers and put away the wellies as the sunshine spell is here to stay - for this week at least.

The Met Office said temperatures could reach a balmy 15 degrees in the capital today and in other parts of Britain later this week.
