The red sea: Sunshine coaxes out amazing display of poppies but grey skies sweep over Britain






The Red Sea 'popped' up in Britain this week - in a nature reserve in Worcestershire.

This striking display of poppies was spotted at the Blackstone Nature Reserve in Bewdley and proved to be an eye-catching sight for locals - including three-year-old Rosie and her mother Becky Hughes, pictured below.

Last year saw a brilliant display in the same field, but this year it's even brighter.
